A little "old" overlooking the beautiful Chavon river, hence its name Altos de Chavon (Chavon heights).

The cozy church seen in this picture, hosts weddings, which several famous people have selected it for their special day.

Altos de Chavon has a lot to offer and things to do.

From concerts in an amphitheate a 5,000-seat, open-air Greek-style venue designed by the Italian artist, Roberto Copa in 1976.  It was inaugurated with the "Concert for the Americas" where artists like Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich, Heart and Carlos Santana on August 20, 1982.

Concerts are always happening here, so be sure to check out if any is happening when you are visiting Casa de Campo.

Visit Isla Catalina

In the southeast of the Dominican Republic, next to La Altagracia and La Romana, 1.5 miles from the mainland, is the tropical island of Isla Catalina. It is a fantastic option for a day on the water, the beach, and a fantastic diving location. The island is home to white sand beaches with warm, clear waters.

During winter season, guests with private yachts and cruise ships use the main beach here.

One of the largest islands in the Dominican Republic is Saona Island, which is situated off the province of La Altagracia's shore. It's part of Cotubanama National Park (Old Eastern National Park).

The island's stunning beaches and other natural features make it a popular tourist destination. By boat or catamaran, you can travel there while passing through stunning coastal scenery.

It is the ideal location for unwinding, sunbathing, swimming in the sea, enjoying food and beverages, and posing for some breathtaking pictures.

Cueva de las Maravillas Cave Exploration

Las Maravillas Cave is the first natural museum of Rupestrian artwork in the West Indies. Our tour begins with a scenic walk though La Romana on the way to the 100,000-year-old cave. You will have a chance to learn about the cave’s extraordinary geological formations and the history of the pictographs left by the Taíno Indians who lived here long before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. Please wear comfortable sport clothing and walking shoes.
